Microsoft and Databricks have announced the launch of Azure Databricks in Saudi Arabia. This brings a unified, open analytics platform to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation. The platform enables organizations to build, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade data, analytics, and AI solutions at scale.

By integrating Databricks’ powerful analytics and AI capabilities with the scalability and security of Microsoft Azure, the partnership aims to help Saudi businesses enhance operations. It also helps them develop data-driven applications and extract actionable insights.

Key goals include democratizing access to analytics and AI tools. Additionally, it will offer professional training and certification in AI and data engineering, and strengthen the Kingdom’s global tech leadership.

“By strengthening our collaboration with Databricks, we are empowering Saudi organizations to achieve greater innovation and foster significant business and community impact,” said Turki Badhris, President of Microsoft Arabia. “This partnership reflects our deep commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s data and AI capabilities in alignment with Vision 2030.”
