Female Students with Revoked Citizenship Urged to Reactivate Suspended Allowances

Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has issued a directive. It calls on female students whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked to visit the ministry to resolve issues related to their suspended student allowances.

The announcement, shared via official ministry channels, stated that these students must update their information. They also need to re-register their data in order to reinstate any suspended financial benefits they were previously receiving for academic studies.

The notice emphasized that the allowances were suspended automatically following the withdrawal of citizenship status. However, affected students are still eligible to reactivate these entitlements upon updating their documentation in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The ministry requested that all impacted individuals attend in person and complete the required procedures as soon as possible. This is to avoid delays in reinstating their support. The announcement did not specify a deadline but urged quick action.

This development highlights the broader administrative challenges faced by individuals affected by citizenship revocation in Kuwait. Particularly in areas related to education, health, and social benefits.
