The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) will participate in the eighth Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2025, taking place at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel on April 15 and 16, 2025. Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa will attend, highlighting the summit’s significance for the Kingdom. This event reflects Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing its urban environment.

Engineer Bassem bin Yaqoob Al Hamer, President of the SLRB, emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to creating sustainable cities. He explained that the Kingdom is focused on improving the quality of life for its citizens through a human-centered approach to urban development. As a result, Bahrain is making great strides in building cities that meet the evolving needs of residents.

Moreover, Bahrain’s real estate sector is currently undergoing significant transformation. National projects and initiatives are driving the Kingdom’s growth, and these efforts contribute to Bahrain’s increasing competitiveness in the regional and global markets. Furthermore, advanced technologies are shaping the future of cities, residential areas, and commercial spaces.

During the summit, the SLRB will present two key papers. The first, titled “Artificial Intelligence System and Monitoring Changes in Smart Cities,” will explore how AI is transforming urban development. The second paper, “Innovative Solutions in Land Registration Management,” aligns with the Kingdom’s ongoing digital transformation strategy. The SLRB is focused on delivering forward-thinking solutions that meet the needs of citizens, residents, and investors alike.

As Bahrain continues its journey toward digital governance, the SLRB’s efforts will remain essential. By embracing innovative solutions for Bahrain’s urban development, the Kingdom is positioning itself as a global leader in smart city advancements.
