It retained its title as the Best Airport in the Middle East for the eleventh consecutive year. HIA also won Best Airport Shopping globally for the third year in a row. Additionally, the airport received the prestigious 5-star Airport Rating.

Hamad Ali Al Khater, Chief Operating Officer at HIA, said the awards reflect the airport’s dedication to quality and innovation. “Being named Best Airport in the Middle East for the 11th year and Best Airport Shopping for the third time reflects our commitment to delivering an exceptional passenger experience,” he said.
He added that the recent opening of Concourses D and E has expanded the airport’s capacity to over 65 million passengers annually. The expansion incorporates smart infrastructure, sustainable design, and next-generation retail. These elements are aimed at enriching the overall travel experience.
