Fijian President Receives Credentials of Qatar’s New Ambassador

President of the Republic of Fiji, H.E. Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, officially received the credentials of H.E. Ali bin Saad Al Hajri as the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Fiji.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Al Hajri conveyed the greetings of the Amir of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to President Lalabalavu. He also conveyed His Highness’ wishes for continued health, happiness, and prosperity for the government and people of Fiji.

In response, the President of Fiji extended his own warm regards to H.H. the Amir and expressed hopes for Qatar’s continued development and success. The exchange highlighted the commitment of both nations to strengthening diplomatic ties. In addition, they emphasized enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
