Etihad Airways to Operate Daily Flights to Atlanta from November

Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways will increase the frequency of its flights to Atlanta to a daily service starting November 1. This follows the launch of its new route to the U.S. city on July 2 with four weekly flights.

The route operates between Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). It is currently the UAE’s only direct connection to Atlanta. The move to daily flights will enhance travel flexibility and convenience for passengers.

The service will be operated using the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000. The aircraft features 44 Business Class seats and 327 Economy Class seats. This offers a premium travel experience across all cabins.

Jurriaan Stelder, Senior Vice President of Network and Alliances at Etihad Airways, stated that the decision to increase flight frequency was driven by strong demand.

“Since announcing our flights to Atlanta, we have seen significant interest from travellers. This prompted us to expand to daily operations on this highly sought-after route,” he said.

The direct service will also provide seamless one-stop connections for passengers traveling from Atlanta to key South Asian destinations. These include Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and Karachi.

This expansion is part of Etihad’s broader growth strategy. The strategy includes the launch of 13 new routes to various global destinations in 2024.
