Tajawob Platform Launched to Boost Community Participation

Oman has officially launched the Tajawob platform, a key initiative to improve public engagement and government communication. The platform allows citizens, residents, and businesses to submit suggestions, complaints, reports, and inquiries about government services. This will streamline how the public interacts with government departments.

The Tajawob platform integrates over 55 government institutions in its first phase, with more institutions set to join soon. This central system serves as a single portal for submitting feedback, making the process more efficient and accessible for all users. Consequently, the government aims to use this platform to improve responsiveness and public service delivery.

Experts believe the Tajawob platform will greatly enhance community involvement. It gives the public a direct role in improving government services. By submitting their complaints and suggestions, citizens will help create better and more efficient public services.

Dr. Amal Talib Al Jahwari, Director of Information at Majlis Al Shura, said the Tajawob platform aligns with His Majesty the Sultan’s Royal Orders. It enhances communication and allows citizens to express their views directly to the government. This initiative represents an important step toward better government transparency and responsiveness.

Social researcher Mubarak bin Khamis Al Hamadani emphasized that the Tajawob platform signals a shift in the government’s approach. The platform will make it easier for citizens to voice their concerns and receive timely responses. Public affairs analyst Rashid bin Abdullah Al Shizani added that this initiative would encourage a culture of constructive feedback.

The Tajawob platform also uses artificial intelligence to improve user experience. In addition, the platform is designed to be more efficient, making it easier for users to navigate. Furthermore, central and executive teams have been established within government departments to ensure the platform’s success. The launch coincided with the third edition of the “Together We Progress” Forum, aimed at improving government services.

In conclusion, the Tajawob platform is a crucial step in improving communication between the government and the public. It empowers citizens to participate actively in enhancing government services, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed effectively.
