Alba Promotes Safety and Health During Ramadan with New Campaign

Alba promotes safety and health during Ramadan with a new campaign designed to support employees and contractors. On February 25, 2025, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) launched its Ramadan Safety and Health Campaign under the theme “Be a Bawi in Ramadan.” The event took place at the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Hall. Senior executives, department managers, and employees attended the launch.

Alba promotes safety and health during Ramadan by organizing various interactive activities. These include educational lectures, field visits, and engagement sessions. The company aims to strengthen awareness among employees while ensuring a productive and healthy work environment.

The campaign kicked off before Ramadan to help employees prepare for the month. Alba invited experts from different fields to deliver in-person and virtual awareness lectures. These sessions covered essential topics such as workplace safety, nutrition, and mental well-being.

The awareness lectures took place from February 25 to February 27. Dr. Masouma Kazim, a psychological and social counseling specialist, spoke about mental health. Eng. Sadiq Rahma, a senior environmental specialist, discussed sustainability and reducing food waste. In addition, Qassim Al-Hammam, a bodybuilding trainer and company employee, shared insights on exercise and nutrition.

Besides lectures, field visits helped strengthen the connection between management and employees. These visits occurred at operational sites before and after Iftar. Leaders engaged with employees, listened to their concerns, and reinforced the importance of safety measures.

Alba promotes safety and health during Ramadan by fostering a culture of responsibility and well-being. The company’s commitment to employee welfare remains a top priority. Through ongoing awareness and engagement, Alba ensures that safety and health standards remain high throughout Ramadan.
