Kuwait KIPCO Group Champions Innovation and Investments Through ‘Shark Vision’ Event

Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) – KIPCO, along with its group companies, proudly served as the title sponsor for “The Shark Vision: Empowering Innovation, Inspiring Entrepreneurs, Transforming Investments.” The event, organized by the Center of Continuing Education (CCE) at the American University of Kuwait (AUK), brought together influential figures in the world of entrepreneurship, including Ahmed Tarek Khalil, a renowned investor and entrepreneur from Shark Tank Egypt.

The event was also supported by key industry players such as Burgan Bank, United Real Estate Company (URC), Kamco Invest, National Petroleum Services Company (NAPESCO), Advanced Technology Company (ATC), and JTC Logistics, all of whom share KIPCO’s commitment to fostering innovation and education. AUK’s role in shaping Kuwait’s educational landscape made it the perfect partner for such an initiative.

The day-long event attracted over 200 private sector representatives. Ahmed Tarek Khalil’s keynote address highlighted the essential role of entrepreneurship and leadership in societal advancement. Following this, two engaging panel discussions took place: “Entrepreneurship in a Changing World: Challenges & Opportunities” and “The Role of Technology and Innovation in Modern Business.” The latter featured insights from Omar Khalifouh, Deputy General Manager of Digital Transformation at Burgan Bank.

Eman Al Awadhi, KIPCO’s Group Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, emphasized the group’s dedication to supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth in line with its strategic vision. She highlighted the importance of education as the foundation for entrepreneurship, stating that equipping individuals with knowledge and skills is key to transforming their ideas into successful ventures, ultimately contributing to the region’s business ecosystem.

This event underlined KIPCO’s ongoing commitment to driving innovation and sustainable economic development in Kuwait.
