Military cooperation between Kuwait and Egypt gained further momentum as senior officials met to strengthen coordination between their armed forces. The discussions took place during the 15th meeting of the Kuwait-Egyptian Cooperation Committee in Egypt.
Major General Eng Salah Al-Azmi, Deputy Chief of Staff for the Supply and Logistics Authority, led the Kuwaiti military delegation. During the meeting, officials reviewed several matters of shared interest involving defense coordination and military relations.
The committee also explored practical ways to expand cooperation and exchange professional expertise between the two armed forces. Consequently, both sides discussed opportunities that could improve coordination and support closer joint work.

Al-Azmi also held separate meetings with senior Egyptian military officials during his visit. He met Major General Mohammad Kamal, Head of the Supply and Logistics Authority of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
He also met Major General Ahmed Omar, Director of Cooperation within the Egyptian Armed Forces. During those discussions, the officials exchanged views on existing military coordination and considered ways to develop cooperation further.

Meanwhile, naval relations also featured prominently during the Egyptian meetings. Major General (Navy) Saif Al-Hamlan, Commander of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, met Vice Admiral Mahmoud Fawzi, Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces.
The naval commanders reviewed several aspects of cooperation between their maritime forces. They also exchanged professional expertise and discussed matters involving shared interests within naval operations.
Their discussions highlighted the importance of maintaining coordination between the two naval forces. Moreover, exchanging operational knowledge can help both sides strengthen professional capabilities and improve cooperation.
The meetings brought together senior officers and commanders from Kuwait and Egypt. Kuwait’s Military Attaché to Egypt, Brigadier General Dhari Al-Hajeri, also attended the discussions alongside other senior military personnel.
