Furthermore, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council outlined two specific cases where married Emirati women qualify for support. In addition, working mothers can receive financial aid if their husband has passed away or experiences unemployment. Meanwhile, authorities require official medical proof or court documents to verify dependency status before approving monthly payments. Therefore, these revised guidelines ensure targeted financial relief reaches eligible families across the nation starting September.
Consequently, the expanded child allowance provides 600 dirhams monthly for every qualifying child without any previous cap. Specifically, program administrators removed the old limit of four children to better support larger national families. Moreover, eligible employees must earn less than 50,000 dirhams monthly to receive ongoing financial assistance. Besides salary requirements, payments continue for sons until age 21 and for daughters until they marry. As a result, the updated framework significantly increases monthly support for qualifying private sector workers.
Similarly, receiving the child allowance requires that spouses do not work for government or public institutions. For instance, families cannot collect duplicate social benefits for the same children from multiple state entities. Likewise, the Council introduced additional salary support programs for children and wives of Emirati citizens. Furthermore, private sector firms have successfully placed over 176,000 Emirati citizens in various jobs since launch.
