Oman’s new ambassador to Rwanda has officially presented her credentials to President Paul Kagame during a ceremony held in the Rwandan capital, Kigali.
Ambassador Nasra Salim Al Hashmi delivered the credentials on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman, marking the start of her diplomatic mission in Rwanda.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and expressed his wishes for President Kagame’s continued success. She also reaffirmed the Sultan’s hopes for lasting prosperity for the Rwandan people and continued growth in bilateral ties.
President Kagame asked the ambassador to extend his greetings and best wishes to Sultan Haitham. He expressed hope for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Oman and stronger cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both Oman and Rwanda to further strengthening their diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
