Kuwait’s real estate market recorded 121 property transactions worth around KD 71.5 million during the week of July 12–16, according to new figures released by the Ministry of Justice.
Data published by the ministry’s Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department showed that private residential properties accounted for the highest number of deals, with 83 transactions valued at approximately KD 26.5 million.
Investment properties ranked second, recording 30 transactions worth about KD 23.6 million, while the commercial sector registered seven deals totaling nearly KD 20.4 million. One craft property transaction was also recorded during the reporting period.
Activity was spread across Kuwait’s six governorates. Ahmadi Governorate led the market with 38 private residential transactions, 14 investment property deals, one commercial sale and one craft property transaction.
The Capital Governorate recorded seven residential transactions, two investment deals and four commercial property sales. Hawally registered five residential and eight investment transactions, while Farwaniya recorded 10 residential and three investment deals.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer saw five residential and three investment property transactions, while Jahra recorded 18 residential sales and two commercial deals.
The latest figures highlight continued momentum in Kuwait’s property market, with private residential real estate remaining the largest contributor to transaction volumes during the week.
