Oman Police Airlifts Crash Victims For Emergency Care

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) Air Wing has carried out a medical evacuation for two Omani citizens who suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident in the Wilayat of Haima.

The collision occurred on Sultan Said bin Taimur Street in the Saih Al Zamayim area, where a vehicle crashed into a truck. The two occupants sustained critical injuries and were airlifted to Nizwa Hospital for specialised medical treatment.

Three other people injured in the accident were transported by ambulance teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority to Haima Hospital for further care.

Authorities have not yet announced the cause of the crash.

The incident highlights the role of the ROP Air Wing in providing rapid emergency response and medical evacuation services, especially in remote areas across Oman.
