Oman has opened the “Distinguished Funded Enterprises 2026” exhibition in Nizwa, showcasing the products and services of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and highlighting their role in supporting economic growth.
Organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, the two-day event features 20 funded SMEs alongside several organizations that provide financial support to entrepreneurs.
The exhibition aims to expand marketing opportunities for participating businesses, strengthen connections with investors and funding institutions, and create new partnerships that support the long-term growth of SMEs.
Participating companies represent various sectors, including manufacturing, industry, consumer goods, construction, education, and services, reflecting the diversity of entrepreneurship in Al Dakhiliyah.
Issa bin Saleh Al Subaihi, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, said the exhibition provides an important platform for funded businesses to reach new customers and investors.
He added that the initiative supports efforts to improve business competitiveness, encourage entrepreneurship, and create new opportunities for growth and investment.
The exhibition was inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mahri, Governor of Adam, and allows visitors to explore local products, meet entrepreneurs, and learn about available support programs.
