UAE Seeks Stronger Trade and Investment Ties With Argentina

The UAE has stepped up efforts to strengthen its economic partnership with Argentina, with senior officials from both countries holding talks on expanding trade, investment and private sector cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi led a high-level Emirati delegation to Buenos Aires as part of the UAE Trade Days initiative. During the visit, he met Argentine government officials, business leaders and investors to explore new opportunities across key sectors, including renewable energy, technology, logistics, agriculture and food security.

The programme also featured a business roundtable that brought together companies from both countries to discuss investment prospects and identify areas for closer commercial collaboration.

Al Zeyoudi said Argentina remains one of the UAE’s leading trading partners in Latin America, highlighting the steady growth in bilateral economic relations and the shared ambition to expand cooperation in strategic industries.

According to the UAE, non-oil trade between the two countries reached $767.5 million in 2025, an increase of 42.6% compared with the previous year. Officials said the visit supports the UAE’s broader strategy to strengthen global trade links and attract new investment through its expanding network of international economic partnerships.
