Kuwait has strongly condemned what it described as repeated Iranian attacks on its territory, saying the latest incident on Sunday constituted a serious violation of the country’s sovereignty and posed a direct threat to its security and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks endangered the safety of citizens and residents and represented a clear breach of the principles of the United Nations Charter.
The ministry said the continued attacks come at a time when regional efforts are focused on reducing tensions, warning that such actions undermine diplomatic initiatives aimed at restoring stability and achieving lasting peace.
Kuwait reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, maintain national security and protect the safety of those living in the country.
The statement also stressed Kuwait’s commitment to preserving regional stability while supporting efforts to de-escalate tensions through dialogue and international cooperation.
