Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has completed the conversion of a number of fuel stations across the country to the Q8 brand, marking a key milestone in its efforts to unify its retail identity and strengthen the visibility of Kuwait’s energy sector at home and abroad.
The move forms part of KPC’s long-term strategy to create a consistent brand presence across its operations while enhancing customer services and supporting future growth plans.
KPC said the first station operating under the new identity has been developed in line with international standards, offering a broader range of services beyond traditional fuel sales. These include retail products, vehicle care services and smart payment solutions designed to improve the customer experience.
The transition is being implemented through cooperation between Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8) and KPC. Officials said the initial phase includes the conversion of eight fuel stations in different parts of Kuwait, with additional sites set to follow under a phased rollout.
KNPC said it will continue overseeing the supply of petroleum products to stations nationwide, building on decades of experience in managing the country’s fuel retail network.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Petroleum International described the launch as the beginning of a new chapter for the Q8 brand in the domestic market. The company said future stations are expected to feature electric vehicle charging points, car wash facilities and partnerships with food and beverage brands as part of efforts to transform fuel stations into broader service destinations.
The initiative is also intended to support customer loyalty, diversify revenue streams and align Kuwait’s fuel retail sector with changing consumer expectations and emerging mobility trends.
