Qatar Charity Launches Global Refugee Support Drive

Qatar Charity has launched a new international humanitarian campaign aimed at supporting vulnerable refugee communities worldwide ahead of World Refugee Day on June 20.

The initiative, titled “Every Refugee Tent Holds a Story,” seeks to raise awareness about the challenges faced by displaced populations while mobilising support for relief and development programmes across several countries.

According to the organisation, the campaign will provide essential assistance including food, clean water, shelter, healthcare and educational support to refugees and displaced families living under difficult conditions.

The programme targets refugee populations from countries including Sudan, Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia and Myanmar, with aid expected to reach communities hosted across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Qatar Charity said the campaign forms part of broader international efforts to improve living conditions for displaced people and strengthen access to basic services and long-term support programmes.

The organisation also highlighted plans to expand resilience and recovery initiatives designed to help refugee communities adapt to prolonged displacement and rebuild stability in their daily lives.

Officials called on individuals and institutions to contribute to the campaign, stressing the importance of humanitarian solidarity amid growing global displacement crises.

Qatar Charity said it allocated hundreds of millions of Qatari riyals to relief operations last year, supporting millions of beneficiaries worldwide, with a large share directed toward emergency situations in Gaza, Sudan and Syria.

The campaign reflects Qatar’s continued role in regional and international humanitarian efforts, particularly in areas affected by conflict, displacement and humanitarian emergencies.
