Bahrain Crown Prince Meets US UN Envoy

Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has met the United States Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Michael Waltz, at Gudaibiya Palace, where both sides discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince highlighted the strength of Bahrain–US relations, noting continued cooperation across multiple sectors and shared strategic interests.

He also reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the United States, particularly through ongoing cooperation frameworks such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).

According to official statements, discussions also touched on the role of the United Nations in promoting international cooperation and addressing global challenges.

The Crown Prince expressed appreciation for coordination between Bahrain, the United States and allied countries within the UN system, stressing the importance of continued collaboration to support global peace and security.

Regional security and stability were also part of the talks, alongside broader international developments of mutual concern.

Senior Bahraini officials attended the meeting, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, and the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court.
