Bahrain Ministers Highlight Youth Role In Media Future

Bahrain’s Minister of Information Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi and Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najib Tawfiqi took part in a dialogue session organised by the Lamea Authority as part of its “Coffee with a Leader” series.

The event brought together members of the authority and young national talents to discuss leadership, media development and the role of youth in the country’s future growth.

During the session, Al Nuaimi said Bahrain continues to advance its development plans through a vision that places young people at the centre of national priorities. He highlighted ongoing government efforts to support youth participation across different sectors and strengthen their role in shaping the future.

He also praised initiatives aimed at developing young national talent, saying such programmes have helped prepare a generation capable of contributing to the country’s progress and professional sectors.

The minister pointed to the importance of modern media and said young Bahrainis are playing a growing role in building innovative media strategies and adapting to digital transformation.

Tawfiqi described the meeting as an important opportunity for young participants to benefit from the experiences of national leaders and gain insights that could support their professional and leadership ambitions.

She said the Lamea programme has become a key national platform for discovering and developing promising youth talents while helping prepare future leaders.

The session concluded with an open discussion between officials and participants on the future of national media and ways to strengthen youth engagement in development initiatives across Bahrain.
