Foreign ministers from Qatar and Saudi Arabia have held discussions over the phone on developments in the Middle East, focusing on regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing escalation.
According to official statements, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan reviewed recent regional developments, including the wider impact of the US–Iran conflict.
The two sides also discussed efforts to ease tensions across the region, with emphasis on supporting mediation initiatives and encouraging dialogue between relevant parties to prevent further escalation.
