Senior officials from Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have held talks in Ankara focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional security challenges.
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex, where both sides reviewed relations between the two countries and explored ways to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to official statements, the discussions emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination between Ankara and Riyadh to support regional stability and security. Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding diplomatic engagement and institutional cooperation.
During the meeting, Prince Faisal conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressing their appreciation for Türkiye and its people and wishing continued progress and prosperity.
President Erdoğan, in turn, sent his greetings to the Saudi leadership, wishing the Kingdom further development and stability.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries, including representatives from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Saudi Embassy in Ankara.
In a parallel session, Prince Faisal and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan co-chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. The talks focused on advancing bilateral cooperation frameworks and strengthening institutional ties across various sectors.
Officials reviewed progress in existing agreements and discussed mechanisms to further integrate cooperation within the council’s structure. Both sides highlighted the importance of utilizing available resources and capabilities to support shared economic and strategic interests.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two ministers signed the official minutes of the session and expressed their intention to hold the next council meeting in Saudi Arabia at a mutually agreed date.
