According to Al-Mustafa, the current strategy includes reviewing and restructuring subsidy systems linked to feed and dairy production. Authorities want to ensure support reaches eligible beneficiaries while encouraging stronger domestic output. Officials believe these reforms can help reduce waste and improve resource management in the sector.
The initiative also targets modernization of Kuwait’s laboratory infrastructure. Plans include upgrading national veterinary facilities and expanding cooperation with international laboratories.
