Manama Omani products in Gulf markets drew strong interest from buyers and shoppers at the Bahrain International Exhibition for Agricultural and Livestock Production. This event highlighted the growing appeal of Omani goods across the region.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry led Omani participation at the Marai Exhibition. Moreover, the committee agreed with event organisers to expand future participation. This deal will allow more Omani firms to showcase diverse products in coming years.
According to committee leaders, Omani products in Gulf markets attracted heavy foot traffic from both local consumers and expatriates. In addition, visitors showed particular interest in dates, processed food items, and other specialty products. Exhibitors reported lively engagement at stands and numerous inquiries about export orders.
The delegation included 22 Omani companies that displayed their offerings. Furthermore, the high quality and attractive packaging of these products helped capture the attention of buyers. Dates and related processed goods remained the highlight, drawing continuous interest throughout the exhibition.
Organisers noted that Omani participation aligns with broader efforts to boost economic cooperation between Oman and Bahrain. As a result, exhibitors and officials conducted multiple business meetings to explore future trade opportunities and potential partnerships.
In addition, the Chamber emphasised its goal to promote entrepreneurship and help small businesses scale up. Leaders noted that Gulf exhibitions like this play a key role in showcasing Omani innovation. Meanwhile, they strengthen business relations beyond domestic borders.
Business delegates also met with representatives from Bahrain’s commerce sector. Consequently, several Omani companies reported follow-up inquiries after the show, suggesting potential deals in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Bahrain visitors praised the quality of products and expressed interest in a broader variety of food items, handicrafts, and agricultural produce. Many buyers said they would recommend these offerings to peers across the Gulf region.
