Oman Advances Educational Leadership at International Forum

Muscat hosted the 5th International Forum for Educational Management and Leadership Research Group, reshaping education for the future through innovative practices and sustainable strategies. The event opened at Sultan Qaboos University, bringing together researchers and educators from 17 countries. Organizers emphasized the importance of leadership in education to prepare students for future challenges.

The forum features 282 working papers and research studies. It addresses global educational trends, digital innovation, sustainability, and leadership development. Participants discussed ways to enhance teaching, curriculum design, and institutional management while maintaining international standards. Moreover, the forum encourages collaborative approaches between universities, schools, and educational authorities.

Sultan Qaboos University, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation jointly organized the event. Officials highlighted that partnerships strengthen research output and help implement practical solutions across Omani schools and universities. Furthermore, the collaboration supports Oman Vision 2040 and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals focused on quality education and lifelong learning.
