The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait warned citizens and residents against entering or hunting in nature reserves. Officials stressed that protecting nature reserves remains a top priority to preserve wildlife and ecosystems. They announced that authorities will confiscate vehicles, hunting tools, and falcons used illegally in these areas.
The Ministry highlighted that these actions support ongoing efforts to safeguard Kuwait’s natural heritage. Field teams actively patrol reserves to prevent violations that harm biodiversity. Citizens as well as residents must follow environmental regulations to ensure future generations can enjoy Kuwait’s unique landscapes.
Officials coordinate with the Environment Public Authority and other agencies to monitor and enforce laws in protected areas. They make clear that the government will prosecute anyone who violates these rules. This approach reinforces the country’s commitment to protecting nature reserves and maintaining ecological balance.
In addition to environmental protection, the Ministry carried out a security and traffic campaign in the Al-Khairan area. Officers recorded 467 traffic violations and arrested 16 individuals. They also detained 10 others and apprehended a wanted person and another individual violating residency laws. Three people faced legal referral for not carrying a driver’s license, while one juvenile was referred to the proper authorities.
During the operation, police seized two vehicles and a motorcycle wanted by the judiciary. They impounded 20 additional vehicles and motorcycles. The Ministry confirmed that such campaigns will continue nationwide to enforce the law, ensure public safety, and protect citizens and residents.
Kuwait’s proactive measures show strong dedication to environmental preservation and law enforcement. By actively protecting nature reserves, the Ministry safeguards the country’s wildlife and natural habitats from illegal activities. These efforts also raise public awareness and encourage ecological responsibility.
Through consistent field operations and community cooperation, Kuwait continues to strengthen its environmental protection policies. These actions help secure a sustainable and safe future for all residents while preserving the nation’s natural heritage.
