The UAE has announced the creation of the Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence to strengthen the country’s emergency response framework and enhance public safety. The Federal Authority will operate under the UAE Cabinet and replace the Civil Defence Department, assuming its responsibilities and the relevant duties of the National Guard Command related to ambulance services.
