Bahrain Hosts Military Judges for 12th Judicial Training Course

The Parliament Secretariat in Bahrain welcomed the first group of participants in the 12th Introductory Judicial Training Course for Military Judges. This program shows Bahrain’s strong support for parliamentary culture, legal training, and regional cooperation. It also builds stronger ties between the Council of Representatives and other government institutions in the region.

The group included 60 officers from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. Participants came from military courts, the Defense Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Security Agency. Their visit also aimed to promote parliamentary knowledge, legal understanding, and cooperation between countries. The Parliament Secretariat in Bahrain gave them clear insights into the Council’s role in national development.

During the opening session, Secretariat staff gave a full overview of Bahrain’s legislative progress. They explained how the Council was created and how it grew during the reform era. They also showed how the Council raises political awareness and supports parliamentary diplomacy. Participants toured the main parliamentary hall and learned how sessions are run, gaining hands-on experience of parliamentary procedures.

The course focuses on building regional cooperation and strong partnerships. It gives military judges a chance to learn about legislative processes and best practices in parliament work. It also highlights the need for dialogue between government institutions and society to strengthen democratic practices.

Observers said the Parliament Secretariat in Bahrain is becoming a key center for legislative education and regional cooperation. By hosting this program, Bahrain positions itself as a leader in parliamentary knowledge and legal training in the Gulf region. The course shows the Council’s commitment to openness, sharing knowledge, and building strong regional ties.

The 12th Introductory Judicial Training Course also gives participants time to exchange ideas and improve practical skills. It promotes cooperation between military and government institutions, helping regional stability and good governance. Through this program, the Council shows its role as a central platform for learning, innovation, and improving parliamentary work in Bahrain and the Gulf region.
