Qatar participates in GCC industry undersecretaries meeting to discuss regional industrial development and cooperation. The country sent a high-level delegation to Kuwait to join the 7th Extraordinary Meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Industry Ministries in GCC Countries. This event brought together senior officials from all GCC nations to coordinate policies and strengthen industrial ties.
The Qatari delegation was led by H E Saleh bin Majid Al-Khalifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs and Business Development at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Moreover, the meeting included the Undersecretaries of Industry Ministries from other GCC countries. Additionally, the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council attended. The Secretary-General of the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) also participated, highlighting the event’s regional significance.
