The Bahrain Writers’ Association Youth Committee marked International Youth Day with a special event titled “Issir and Dialogue.” The gathering celebrated emerging literary voices and provided a platform for young authors to share their creative achievements.

The event brought together newly published writers from different genres, including short stories and novels. It aimed to foster an environment where young talent could flourish through encouragement, guidance, and exposure. Organizers emphasized the importance of nurturing creativity among the youth to enrich Bahrain’s literary scene.

Writer Mohammed Khaled participated with his short story collection “Anbajes,” offering readers a glimpse into his distinctive style. Similarly, writer Hussein Al-Suwaidi presented his short story collection “Between One Night,” which explores varied human emotions.

Novelist Amina Al-Banki contributed her work “A Bitter Life,” a thought-provoking narrative that delves into personal and societal struggles. Young writer Hussein Al-Ikhlas showcased “Qalam wa Rassas,” demonstrating a strong voice in contemporary literature. Additionally, writer Sheikha Al-Sheikh introduced her debut novel “Bloody Brain,” a bold addition to the lineup.

Throughout the event, discussions highlighted the journey of these young authors, from initial inspiration to final publication. Experienced literary figures also engaged with the participants, offering constructive insights and practical advice. This exchange of perspectives reinforced the committee’s mission to guide aspiring writers toward refining their craft.

The Bahrain Writers’ Association Youth Committee intends to continue spotlighting young talent in future activities. Organizers stressed the value of connecting emerging writers with experienced mentors to sustain creativity and innovation in the literary field. They believe that such initiatives not only elevate individual writers but also strengthen the cultural identity of Bahrain.

Moreover, the event underlined the committee’s commitment to creating more opportunities for young authors to present their work. By building a supportive network, the association aims to inspire confidence and encourage originality among the next generation of writers.

In the coming years, the Bahrain Writers’ Association Youth Committee plans to expand its programs, ensuring a lasting impact on the nation’s literary growth and cultural heritage.
