General Education Diploma Results 2025 Released

The General Education Diploma results for the first semester of the 2024/2025 school year will be officially released tomorrow. The Ministry of Education confirmed this announcement and shared key performance indicators.

Minister of Education Dr. Madiha Ahmed Al Shaibani approved the overall performance indicators earlier this week. A total of 54,856 students took part in the General Diploma exams this semester. Among these candidates, 82.83 percent successfully passed.

Additionally, 1,579 students from private bilingual schools sat for the exams. Their success rate reached a remarkable 91.58 percent. For the Islamic Sciences stream, 121 students took the exams and achieved a 100 percent pass rate.

The General Education Diploma results also include figures for students in special education programs. Sixty-one students took the exams in this category. Out of these, 86.89 percent passed successfully.

Moreover, 138 students appeared for the Vocational and Technical General Education Diploma exams. Impressively, all of them passed, achieving a perfect 100 percent success rate.

The Minister congratulated all successful students and praised their efforts during this important academic milestone.

Students can check their General Education Diploma results starting from 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025. To access the results, students should send their seat number via SMS to 90200 using any local telecom provider.

To maintain fairness and order, the Ministry took all necessary steps during the examination period. Authorities ensured that all 366 exam centers across Oman followed strict guidelines.

Despite these efforts, officials recorded 16 violations related to exam regulations. The Ministry investigated each case thoroughly before issuing penalties. These actions followed Ministerial Decision No. (588 / 2015).

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to fairness and transparency in managing the exams.

In summary, the latest results reflect continued success and dedication across all educational streams in Oman.
