QCDC Opens Registration for ‘My Career – My Future’ Program to Guide Students

QCDC opens registration for the seventh edition of its ‘My Career – My Future’ job shadowing program. The program aims to help high school students across Qatar explore real-world career opportunities.

Organized by Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), which was established by Qatar Foundation, this program offers a unique, hands-on experience. Students will join job shadowing placements in various national sectors. Registration by QCDC opens the door for students to explore Medicine, Aviation, Media and Communications, Telecommunications, Business, Financial Services, Judiciary, Tourism, Sport Management, Engineering, Technology, and Social Work.

Since its launch, ‘My Career – My Future’ has trained over 500 students. Together, they completed more than 12,000 training hours across six previous editions. This initiative is part of QCDC’s larger mission to support students in making informed career and academic decisions.

Moreover, QCDC opens registration for the program building on the success of its ‘Career Village’ event held last May. While ‘Career Village’ introduces students to different fields, ‘My Career – My Future’ offers a deeper experience. It connects classroom learning to real workplace settings, giving students firsthand exposure to professional life.

Participants engage directly with experts in their chosen fields. This practical approach allows them to better understand job roles and work environments. At the same time, organizations benefit by inspiring and connecting with young talent. They play a crucial role in shaping Qatar’s future workforce and supporting national development.

QCDC opens registration for the program, which includes shadowing and interactive workshops as well as a university fair. Students also have chances to network with professionals across different sectors. The program concludes with a ceremony to celebrate student achievements and recognize supporting organizations.

Seats are limited, and placements operate on a first-come, first-served basis. QCDC encourages early registration to secure spots in preferred fields. QCDC opens registration to continue empowering young people and preparing them for their future careers. The center remains committed to offering programs that build confidence, foster practical skills, and support informed choices.
