UAE Ambassador Presents Credentials to Ecuador’s President to Boost Bilateral Ties

UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa during a formal ceremony at Carondelet Palace. This event marks a significant step in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.

His Excellency Ibrahim Salem Al Alawi was officially welcomed as the UAE’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-Resident Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ecuador. The ceremony took place on June 3, 2025, in Ecuador’s capital, Quito.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Alawi conveyed greetings from the UAE leadership. These included messages from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.

He expressed the UAE’s sincere wishes for Ecuador’s continued progress, prosperity, and strong bilateral relations. In response, President Noboa extended his greetings and appreciation to the UAE leadership. He also emphasized his country’s commitment to expanding cooperation with the UAE.

President Noboa wished Ambassador Al Alawi success in his diplomatic role. He assured the ambassador of full support from the Ecuadorian government to facilitate his duties and mission.

UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Ecuador’s President and reaffirms the UAE’s goal to deepen strategic ties. Ambassador Al Alawi stated he is honored to represent the UAE and is committed to enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

The meeting also included discussions on mutual interests. Both parties agreed to explore new areas of collaboration, particularly in trade, investment, energy, and sustainable development.

UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Ecuador’s President as part of an ongoing diplomatic effort to build stronger relationships in Latin America. The two nations continue to seek shared opportunities that benefit their people and strengthen international partnerships.
