His Excellency Ibrahim Salem Al Alawi was officially welcomed as the UAE’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-Resident Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ecuador. The ceremony took place on June 3, 2025, in Ecuador’s capital, Quito.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Alawi conveyed greetings from the UAE leadership. These included messages from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.
He expressed the UAE’s sincere wishes for Ecuador’s continued progress, prosperity, and strong bilateral relations. In response, President Noboa extended his greetings and appreciation to the UAE leadership. He also emphasized his country’s commitment to expanding cooperation with the UAE.
President Noboa wished Ambassador Al Alawi success in his diplomatic role. He assured the ambassador of full support from the Ecuadorian government to facilitate his duties and mission.
