Venezuela and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Diplomatic Ties Through Official Message Exchange

Venezuela’s President Stresses Enhancing Bilateral Ties with Saudi Arabia in a formal written message delivered this week. President Nicolás Maduro sent the message to King Salman, reaffirming Venezuela’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic cooperation with the Kingdom. This message highlighted the importance of building deeper relationships between the two countries and emphasized shared values such as sovereignty, mutual respect, and regional stability.

The Venezuelan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, David Velasquez Caraballo, personally handed the letter to Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khereiji. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh on Sunday. During their discussion, both sides explored ways to expand cooperation across political, economic, and cultural sectors, while also reviewing past joint projects and evaluating opportunities for future collaboration.
