Um Naser Finnish Early Childhood Education Marks Milestones with Cultural Celebration

Um Naser Finnish Early Childhood Education celebrated a special occasion, highlighting the impact of Finnish early childhood education in Bahrain. The event marked three milestones: Bahrain’s National Day, Finland’s Independence Day, and the foundation’s first anniversary. Families, children, and community members gathered at the Blue Zero Ice Rink in The Avenues Mall to join the festivities. The celebration emphasized cultural exchange, innovative learning, and community engagement.

The event featured educational and artistic activities that blended Bahraini and Finnish traditions. Visitors enjoyed family ice skating sessions, interactive games, and demonstrations of the foundation’s teaching methods. Through these activities, the center showcased its approach to holistic child development, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, as well as social skills. This initiative reflected the growing influence of Finnish early childhood education in shaping young learners’ experiences in Bahrain.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sada, General Manager of S-Eleven Education, the foundation’s investment partner, explained that the celebration demonstrates commitment to modern educational models. He noted that such events strengthen community partnerships while promoting advanced learning practices. Furthermore, the celebration illustrated the positive outcomes of collaboration among educators, families, and community members. By combining cultural festivities with educational engagement, the center reinforced its mission to create meaningful learning experiences.

Leena Merikaliu, Director of Um Naser Finnish Early Childhood Education, expressed delight in celebrating the foundation’s first anniversary. She highlighted the opportunity to integrate proven Finnish practices with Bahrain’s cultural values. Children aged 2 to 5 benefit from a safe, stimulating environment that nurtures their intellectual, emotional, and social growth. The center continues to set high standards in early childhood education while inspiring lifelong learning.

S-Eleven Education and the foundation thanked families, partners, and staff for contributing to the event’s success. They also emphasized their ongoing dedication to expanding access to high-quality early education. While blending cultural celebration with educational innovation, the event reinforced the significance of Finnish early childhood education in Bahrain.

Overall, the celebration showcased Um Naser’s commitment to excellence, community involvement, and holistic child development. With continued growth and innovation, Finnish early childhood education remains a central part of the foundation’s mission to prepare young learners for future success.
