UDST Opens Admissions for Fall 2025 with Expanded Programme Offerings

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has officially opened admissions for the Fall 2025 semester, offering a diverse range of academic opportunities for students across Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Diploma programmes.

Wide Range of Programmes and Tuition Benefits

UDST now offers over 70 programmes across five key colleges:

  • Engineering and Technology
  • Business
  • Computing and Information Technology
  • Health Sciences
  • General Education

Qatari nationals and children of Qatari women are eligible for tuition fee exemptions for undergraduate programmes, which can be applied for through the university’s website.

New Programmes for 2025-2026

The university has introduced several new programmes to align with evolving industry demands:

  • Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (College of Computing and IT)
  • Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering (College of Engineering and Technology)
  • Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management (College of Engineering and Technology)
  • Master of Science in Telecommunication and Network Engineering (College of Engineering and Technology)
  • Bachelor and Master of Science in Teaching STEM (College of General Education)
  • Master of Science in STEM Education and TVET (College of General Education)

These STEM and TVET programmes are approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for the in-country scholarship initiative.

UDST President Dr. Salem Al Naemi emphasized the university’s role in preparing students for the job market through hands-on learning:

Applicants must meet specific admission criteria and pass UDST’s English and Math Placement Tests. The Foundation Programme is available for those needing additional preparation before joining their chosen academic path.
