UAE’s Humanitarian Aid for Gaza Highlighted in Global Documentary

The United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its global humanitarian leadership through a new documentary titled “Hope Remains.” Produced by the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, the film showcases the UAE’s humanitarian aid for Gaza and premiered globally on the Discovery Channel.

The documentary features real-life stories of aid recipients in Gaza. These accounts represent thousands who benefited from the UAE’s emergency support. As of November 2024, the UAE contributed 42% of total humanitarian aid to Gaza, amounting to $828 million.

Through emotional storytelling and powerful visuals, “Hope Remains” emphasizes the UAE’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian people. Viewers hear from families who overcame despair with the help of medical support, food relief, and shelter funded by the UAE.

The film highlights how UAE aid improved mental health, physical conditions, and restored hope to many suffering in Gaza. It also showcases the values of generosity, unity, and compassion deeply embedded in Emirati society.

In addition, aid workers provide exclusive insights into how relief teams operate in the field. Their stories underline the scale, speed, and professionalism of UAE-led operations.

The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council will release Arabic and English versions of the film throughout June. It will be available on national TV channels and social media platforms.

This documentary follows the Council’s successful series “On the Frontline,” which highlighted UAE humanitarian missions in Egypt, Gaza, and the UAE. Both projects aim to raise awareness of the country’s consistent support for people in crisis.

The UAE’s humanitarian aid for Gaza continues under the guidance of its leadership. Relief teams are focused on helping vulnerable groups, especially children, who make up nearly half of Gaza’s population.

As part of its long-term strategy, the UAE continues building partnerships, delivering critical supplies, and funding sustainable recovery efforts in the Strip.

The film “Hope Remains” reinforces the UAE’s position as a global humanitarian leader. It reflects the nation’s ethical values and ongoing efforts to support peace and dignity worldwide.
