The United Arab Emirates said missile threats detected early Sunday were outside the country’s borders, while confirming that its defense systems remain on the highest level of readiness.
The UAE Ministry of Defense said national monitoring and tracking systems are operating around the clock with full efficiency to respond to any potential threats.
The statement came after Iran announced that it had launched attacks on US military sites in regional countries in response to US strikes on Iranian targets.
The United States also confirmed that it had carried out another round of military strikes against Iran following an earlier Iranian attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
The latest developments come amid heightened regional tensions and growing concerns over security in the Gulf. UAE authorities said they continue to closely monitor the situation and maintain readiness to protect the country’s security.
