UAE Retailers Launch Major Discounts Ahead of Ramadan Shopping Season

With Ramadan approaching, UAE retailers are rolling out sales with discounts of up to 70% to attract shoppers. The holy month traditionally sees a surge in spending as residents take advantage of deals on big-ticket items like electronics, appliances, and furniture.

Union Coop has launched its Ramadan campaign, offering up to 60% off on over 5,000 products, both online and in-store. The retailer has also partnered with 42 local farms to supply fresh produce and will keep prices stable on over 200 essential items.

Jumbo Electronics is offering up to 50% off on electronics and appliances, with trade-in deals available. The company expects double-digit sales growth as families upgrade their homes during the festive period. Similarly, Western Furniture is providing discounts of up to 70% on select items, with sales typically rising by 30-40% during Ramadan.

Homebox has introduced a special Ramadan collection, focusing on modern designs to enhance living spaces while offering hassle-free shopping experiences. Retailers anticipate strong demand as customers prepare for gatherings and celebrations during the month of giving.
