UAE Condemns Iranian Drone Attack on Oman’s Port of Salalah

The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the unprovoked Iranian drone attack on the Port of Salalah in Oman. The assault damaged several fuel tanks and disrupted operations at the port. Consequently, UAE officials described the attack as a dangerous escalation and a clear violation of international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that such aggression threatens regional security and undermines efforts to maintain stability. In addition, UAE stressed that Oman has consistently worked to de-escalate tensions and mediate conflicts across the Gulf. Therefore, targeting Oman’s critical infrastructure represents a direct challenge to peace initiatives.

Furthermore, the UAE reaffirmed full solidarity with Oman. The ministry confirmed that it supports all measures Oman takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability. UAE authorities also highlighted that protecting citizens, residents, and essential infrastructure remains a top priority during such attacks.

The statement underlined that aggressive actions against strategic ports and economic hubs pose risks not only to the affected nation but to the entire region. Moreover, the UAE urged all countries to respect international law and refrain from acts that could escalate tensions. Officials stressed that attacks on peaceful nations undermine diplomatic efforts and hinder regional cooperation.

In addition, the UAE emphasized the importance of joint action among Gulf states. By strengthening security coordination and intelligence sharing, countries in the region can prevent future incidents and enhance protection for critical infrastructure. UAE authorities confirmed readiness to work with Oman and other allies to mitigate threats and maintain stability.

This statement also reinforced the UAE’s commitment to supporting Oman in defending its territory and safeguarding its citizens. The UAE highlighted that regional solidarity remains essential in countering hostile actions. Consequently, the partnership between UAE and Oman demonstrates a shared determination to uphold peace, security, and sovereignty.

Overall, UAE solidarity with Oman reflects a proactive approach to regional protection and diplomatic cooperation. Through joint efforts, both nations continue to reinforce resilience, maintain stability, and ensure safety for citizens and residents. UAE solidarity with Oman highlights the importance of unity against aggression and the commitment to safeguarding Gulf security.
