Three Killed in Devastating Truck Crash in Al Dhahirah Governorate

Truck collision deaths have once again shaken Al Dhahirah Governorate after a devastating crash in Ibri’s Al Rahba area. On Sunday, two large trucks collided violently, killing three individuals and seriously injuring one more.

Emergency teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) rushed to the scene immediately after the alert. Rescue crews found the vehicles heavily damaged and victims trapped inside.

According to official reports, three people died instantly from the impact. The fourth victim, suffering critical injuries, received emergency treatment on-site before being transferred to the nearest hospital for advanced care.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with debris scattered across the road and both trucks severely damaged. Emergency personnel used hydraulic tools to free the injured passenger from the wreckage.

Traffic authorities temporarily closed the area to clear the wreckage and ensure road safety. Cleanup operations lasted several hours, with heavy equipment brought in to move the damaged trucks.

Local officials confirmed that investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the crash. Factors such as speed, driver fatigue, and vehicle condition will be examined closely.

The truck collision deaths have reignited public concern about highway safety in Ibri and surrounding regions. Many residents are now urging stricter enforcement of road safety regulations for heavy vehicles.

Authorities reminded drivers to exercise extreme caution, particularly on highways where large trucks operate. They also emphasized the need for regular vehicle maintenance and proper rest periods for long-haul drivers.

This latest accident adds to a growing list of traffic incidents in the governorate, raising alarms among safety advocates. The CDAA continues to encourage the public to report unsafe driving and assist in spreading awareness about safe road behavior.

In conclusion, the truck collision deaths in Ibri mark a somber moment for the Al Dhahirah community. As families grieve, officials stress the importance of collective responsibility in preventing further tragedies.
