stc Bahrain Launches 2025 Summer Training Program “EMERGE” to Empower Youth

stc Bahrain launches the 2025 Summer Training Program called “EMERGE,” designed to empower youth and prepare them for future careers. The program offers trainees detailed career guidance and insights into job opportunities in the technology sector. It serves as a foundation for young people to start their career transformation journey confidently.

The “EMERGE” program builds on last year’s success and adapts to the accelerating pace of skills development. It aims to develop trainees’ personal and professional talents, improve self-confidence, and equip them to face changes in the work environment. Moreover, the program helps trainees seize new opportunities and prepare effectively for the job market after graduation.

For over fifteen years, stc Bahrain has played a vital role in bridging the gap between academic education and practical work experience. Since 2010, the company has provided more than 80,000 training hours through summer and internship programs. These initiatives contribute to building the skills of national talent and readying them for future employment.

This year, the “EMERGE” program includes 22 trainees. It also reserves seats for Royal Humanitarian Foundation beneficiaries to support community development and expand local capabilities.

stc Bahrain’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Fahad Al-Owaini, emphasized the company’s dedication to empowering young national talent. He highlighted the company’s ongoing efforts to align training programs with market developments and the telecommunications sector’s needs. Trainees will benefit from gaining valuable skills during their training period and will contribute positively with their creativity and ideas.

The two-month program covers essential skills such as presentation preparation, design thinking, and launching community initiatives. Additionally, trainees will attend a three-day project management course with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), learning best practices in this field. They will also participate in a two-day virtual workshop organized by INJAZ Bahrain, focusing on leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Furthermore, stc Bahrain has formed strategic partnerships with several universities in Bahrain. These include the American University of Bahrain, British University of Bahrain, Royal University for Women, European University in Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, and University of Bahrain. Through these partnerships, stc Bahrain offers training seats during summer and winter, helping students enhance their professional skills under the guidance of stc employees.

In conclusion, the 2025 Summer Training Program “EMERGE” by stc Bahrain provides a unique platform for youth empowerment. It supports national talent development and prepares young people for success in a competitive job market.
