Sheikh Ebrahim Center Honors Dr. Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari with Book Launch

On the anniversary of Dr. Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari’s passing, the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research launched the book In the Presence of the Absent Present: Dr. Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari. Dr. Al-Ansari, former advisor to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, passed away after a career full of intellectual achievements and cultural contributions to Bahrain.

The book includes articles, studies, and research reflecting Dr. Al-Ansari’s intellectual and humanitarian legacy. It also features photographs from various stages of his life and career.

Notable figures attended the event, including Mr. Nabil bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Media Affairs, and Chairman of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development. Other attendees included Ms. Hala bint Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari, His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Cultural and Scientific Affairs, and Her Excellency Ambassador Reham Abdul Hamid Khalil, Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain. Members of the Al Ansari family and numerous writers, thinkers, and media professionals were also present.

The launch is part of the Sheikh Ebrahim Center’s cultural season, titled Do Not Regret a War That Matured You. The event celebrated Dr. Al-Ansari’s lasting contributions to Bahrain’s cultural and intellectual heritage.
