Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman has congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Armenia’s prime minister following his party’s victory in the country’s parliamentary elections.
In a congratulatory cable, the Crown Prince extended his best wishes to Pashinyan for success in his new term and expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Armenia.
Pashinyan was reappointed after his Civil Contract party secured a decisive victory in parliamentary elections held in June.
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan formally reappointed Pashinyan during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Yerevan, signing the decree confirming his new term in office.
The message reflects the Kingdom’s diplomatic engagement with Armenia as both countries continue to maintain bilateral relations.
