Saudi Arabia Delivers $30 Million in Financial Support to Palestine

Saudi Arabia delivers $30 million in financial support to Palestine amid growing economic pressure. The latest installment arrived during a ceremony in Amman on Thursday. Omar Al-Bitar, Palestine’s Minister of Finance, received the aid at the Saudi embassy in Jordan.

Mohammed Mounis, Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi embassy in Jordan, personally handed the funds to Al-Bitar. The financial aid is part of Saudi Arabia’s 2025 commitment to back the Palestinian government. Notably, this move aims to support Palestine during a time of serious financial crisis.

Omar Al-Bitar expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued economic and political support. He stressed the critical importance of this contribution. According to him, the money will help alleviate the burden caused by Israel’s recent policies. He also conveyed greetings from the Palestinian leadership to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Furthermore, Al-Bitar emphasized the Kingdom’s unwavering position on Palestinian rights. He acknowledged that this financial aid will help stabilize the Palestinian economy. It will also assist in fulfilling essential government obligations.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Mounis highlighted the Kingdom’s consistent efforts to support the Palestinian cause. He said this support strengthens the government’s capacity to endure current hardships. Saudi Arabia delivers $30 million in financial support to Palestine as part of broader aid efforts.

He noted that the Kingdom has provided around $5.3 billion in total aid to Palestine in recent years. This includes humanitarian, relief, and development assistance. Such efforts underline the strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian people. The financial support also strengthens institutional infrastructure, provides urgent services, and ensures continued delivery of public programs in Palestinian territories under extreme strain.

Clearly, Saudi Arabia delivers $30 million in financial support to Palestine not just as charity, but as a political and humanitarian gesture. This move reinforces its long-standing stance in favor of Palestine’s independence and legitimate rights while addressing pressing economic challenges.
