Saudi AI Infrastructure Expands Through $267B U.S. Partnerships, Boosting Digital Transformation

Saudi AI infrastructure is rapidly expanding as the Kingdom partners with major U.S. companies. These partnerships aim to boost Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional and global AI hub. Furthermore, Saudi AI infrastructure projects will accelerate digital transformation across public and private sectors.

During the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum, agreements worth USD 267 billion were signed. They cover AI, telecom, transportation, and defense. The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) secured multiple partnerships with US tech firms to develop local AI capabilities.

Supermicro will provide server solutions, data center design, AI events, and e-learning programs to train Saudi professionals. Dell Technologies will enhance AI adoption through infrastructure upgrades, knowledge transfer, and national training. Cisco Systems will build scalable AI-ready data centers for government services. Boomi Software will help create AI data centers and expand knowledge-sharing programs.

Microsoft signed a non-binding MoU with the Public Investment Fund and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE). The deal focuses on studying Microsoft’s sovereign cloud services for data security, local storage, compliance, research, and AI innovation.

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication launched an AI platform in Silicon Valley. It is developing AI infrastructure via Go Cloud and established Go Cyber for security solutions. The company signed 43 agreements with US AI firms to expand their products in the Kingdom.

Solutions by STC secured a five-year SAR 261.9 million contract with Center3 for data center hosting. This supports cloud services and operational readiness. Earlier, Solutions upgraded STC’s internal networks through a SAR 313.4 million, three-year contract. The upgrades include 5G expansion, hardware replacement, and improved internet infrastructure.

Saudi AI infrastructure initiatives are accelerating technology adoption. They foster innovation and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a competitive digital hub. These efforts demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s commitment to future-ready AI and cloud infrastructure.
