RTA and Etihad Rail Open New Flyover to Enhance Traffic Flow at Dubai Investment Park

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Etihad Rail, has officially opened a 1.8 km, signal-controlled flyover. It has a three-lane capacity.
The new infrastructure is designed to improve traffic flow on Al Yalayis Street. It facilitates movement to and from Dubai Investment Park.

The flyover includes a right-turn slip road for vehicles coming from Dubai, providing access to the park. This development aims to optimise traffic movement and enhance road safety for all users.

The flyover was constructed to ensure the smooth movement of trains on the UAE’s national railway network. It allows them to travel within the median strip of Al Yalayis Street.
It separates the movement of trains and vehicles, maintaining uninterrupted traffic flow in the area.

The opening of the flyover reflects the collaboration between the RTA and Etihad Rail in supporting the national railway network.
As a key infrastructure project, the network plays a pivotal role in enhancing the UAE’s sustainable transport system.

It enables the efficient movement of goods and passengers through modern, safe, and reliable trains. This supports the nation’s comprehensive development strategy.

Etihad Rail reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with relevant UAE authorities to align operations with the highest global standards.
Their goal is to ensure efficient transport services for goods and passengers, strengthening connectivity and safe delivery of railway services.

It enhances mobility to and from Dubai.
It aligns with Etihad Rail’s broader efforts to strengthen social connections, improve logistics, and drive economic growth across the country.
