Riyadh Metro Expands with Opening of Two New Orange Line Stations

The Riyadh Public Transport announced on Saturday the opening of two new stations on the Orange Line of the Riyadh Metro. This further enhances the city’s growing public transportation network. The Orange Line (Line 3) stretches 40.7 kilometers. It runs from Madinah Road to Prince Saad bin Abdulrahman I Road. It is the third line of the Riyadh Metro.

The announcement follows the full activation of all six metro lines. The Orange Line officially launched on January 5, 2025. This completes the network’s phased rollout that began on December 1, 2024. The network now includes:

  • Blue Line (Line 1)
  • Red Line (Line 2)
  • Yellow Line (Line 4)
  • Green Line (Line 5)
  • Purple Line (Line 6)

In just 75 days since its initial launch, the Riyadh Metro has:
