QCB Governor Meets with U.S. Ambassador to Discuss Financial Cooperation

Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB), H.E. Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani, held a meeting on Tuesday with the U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Timmy Davis, to discuss bilateral relations in the financial and banking sectors.

The meeting, held in Doha, focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas of mutual interest within the financial industry.

Both sides reviewed ways to enhance collaboration and exchange expertise, reaffirming the importance of sustained dialogue to support economic and financial development. The discussion reflects the growing partnership between Qatar and the United States in advancing robust and innovative banking frameworks.

The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts by QCB to align with international standards and foster deeper international economic relations.
